As many of you will know the UK Government is planning several more nuclear reactors despite having no “away” for the nuclear waste. This time they have the brass neck to call nuclear “clean” !
To describe Nuclear energy as clean is fraudulent and the claim amounts to a mass marketing scam perpetrated on the British public.
The Clean Energy Technology Park formerly known as Springfields the UK’s Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing Plant is just 3.9 miles from the centre of Preston. This would manufacture uranium fuel ripped from the ground of countries such as Kazakhstan to burn in nuclear reactors in the UK. The Springfields nuclear fuel manufacturing plant near Preston is also planning an incinerator to burn intermediate level radioactive wastes from across Europe. This would result in daily plumes of chemical and radio-toxic airborne fine particle emissions blowing across Preston City Centre.
Join in calling for the word “Clean” to be replaced by – Nuclear – at the Clean Energy Technology Park. Language is being used as a weapon to force nuclear developments on communities by replacing the word “nuclear” with “clean”.
Join in calling on Trading Standards to put a halt to this mass marketing scam of “clean” energy – Nuclear is not clean – it is the most dangerous energy technology and the language we use to describe it must be accurate.

Please sign and share to Stop the Scam of “Clean” Nuclear. Coal Boss Mark Kirkbride is giving the Government costings on the digging of big holes to put the hottest nuclear waste into, while other still dangerous wastes (previously earmarked for a deep dump) are dispersed, dumped and incinerated. And they have the brass neck to call this “clean.”
I think as the tory ship list and is slowly but surely sinking, desperation and acts of stupidity will be the new norm as they try and divert focus from each other whilst doing nothing for the average working person, at least we only have less than two years before an election and maybe common sense will then prevail and nuclear will be properly categorised as anything but green or clean, so sign the petition and give future generations a chance. Maybe if Cummings had not departed then Boris would have been reigned in because Cummins was the only active part of Boris’s inteligence and now it looks like Boris has moved onto a new plan to clean up waste by incineration and that is by trying to provoke Putin into doing it for him.
