Guardian Article : What About the Appointment of Coal Mine Boss to Nuke Dump Plan??

On Monday an otherwise good article in the Guardian continued the ongoing high level omission that the Cumbrian Coal Boss has been appointed to the Government Nuke Dump Plan. When will this breathtaking cronyism and some would say example of governmental corruption be exposed and scrutinised by commentators in the UK mainstream media. It is not for want of trying on our part! The quote from Lakes Against Nuclear Dump/Radiation Free Lakeland in the article falls short of what we said – the Coal Boss’ Continuing Governmental Appointment to the Nuke Dump Plan is especially outrageous given that his coal mine (slap bang in the middle of the Copeland “search area” for a Geological Nuclear Dump) is subject to a public inquiry to be decided by Government. Stinky Much?

  1. the banner in the photo has been in place since 2012 when it was placed there to protest the last “process” to try and foist a dangerous deep nuclear dump on Cumbria- Recently has it been vandalised and removed from the private land by the main route into West Cumbria.
