National Park arrange a meeting – Rusland Reading Room – 7.30pm to explain their decision to fell.  Too many people turn up so the church is used.  Chief Bureaucrat does his slippery thing and says “we are not getting rid of the beeches, but we are putting alot of money into replanting them with beech rather than small leaved lime:

Andy found bat roots in the trees.  The National Park want to fell in winter – when the bats are hibernating!
