Terrible news coming in on the floods in West Cumbria with millions of pounds worth of new defences being breached. The BBC Helicopter relaying images of the awful devastation has very carefully avoided showing areas in which the growing number of nuclear installations have been dumped on this flood prone land:
Sellafield, Drigg, Lillyhall and the proposed new nuclear plant on the river Ehen floodplain, Moorside.
Why the journalistic omission? Why are there no questions being asked about the breaching of Cumbria’s growing number of uncontainable nuclear installations which already leach “with a controlled release of radioactivity” into Groundwaters, Marine Holding Tanks and such like?
Flood warnings for the Rivers Ehen, Calder, Irt and Esk …no mention by the press of implications for existing and proposed nuclear crapola https://www.tidetimes.org.uk/flood-warning-011WAFED
