Victims of British Nuclear Tests have fought for decades for some recognition of their illnesses, along with some financial compensation. The UK government has now offered money to be shared with all aging veterans. Why do veterans, especially the elderly ones, have to get the run around? The US also viciously gives the run around to elderly atomic veterans who have the wrong type of cancer. Why are they so mean-spirited? Just give the veterans their damn money! The other problem is that if someone manages to get compensation for civilian nuclear radiation exposure it is conditional on their signing a gagging clause.
