As the Geological Dumping plan is rearing its head again here for a reminder is the excellent Lecture by Dr Helen Wallace that took place in Kendal in 2012. Helen author of the ‘Rock Solid’ report from Greenpeace International spoke in 2010 to Allerdale Borough Council at the request of councillor Joe Sandwith, the first brave Cumbrian Councillor to question the whole sorry notion of ‘Steps Towards Geological Disposal’.
